About The Position

BrokerLink is seeking a Personal Insurance Advisor to join their growing team in Perth, ON. This is a permanent, full-time position. The role involves servicing ongoing client needs, advising on insurance matters, conducting needs assessments, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, performing care calls, and processing renewals. Additionally, the advisor will sell new policies to existing or new clients, retain the existing book of business, quote new business through outbound calls and introductory letters, and handle walk-in clients. The position requires interaction with Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policies, preparation of documentation for insurers, completion of applications for clients, issuance of insurance certificates, processing of changes, and review of renewals. The advisor must stay current on underwriting rules and workflow processes, actively participate in training initiatives and community marketing, process Account Receivable activities, and provide guidance and assistance as requested.

Requirements

  • High School and or Post-Secondary Education
  • Minimum 1-year Personal Insurance experience preferred
  • Exposure to Epic is an asset
  • Strong customer focus
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada from the anticipated start date and throughout their employment

Responsibilities
