About The Position
The Ward Law Group is seeking a Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our New York office. This role involves managing plaintiff personal injury litigation cases from filing through resolution, including drafting legal documents, conducting depositions, making court appearances, negotiating settlements, and maintaining client communication. Requirements
- Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish, including the ability to conduct client consultations, review documents, draft correspondence, and communicate professionally in both languages.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing with the New York State Bar.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Plaintiff Personal Injury litigation experience handling motor vehicle accident litigation.
- Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday in New York City.
Responsibilities
- Manage plaintiff personal injury litigation cases from filing through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and court filings.
- Conduct depositions, court appearances, mediations, and settlement conferences.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel.
- Maintain communication with clients and litigation support staff.
