About The Position

MCV Law is seeking a compassionate, high-performing Law Clerk to join our Personal Injury practice in Central New York. This is an on-site position in our Syracuse Office. The Law Clerk will be an integral part of our team-based approach, working alongside attorneys, client advocates, and paralegals to support injured individuals from initial intake through to case resolution. Many of our current attorneys began their careers in this very role, indicating a strong opportunity for growth within the firm.

Requirements

• Current enrollment as a 2L or 3L in an accredited J.D. program.
• A strong academic record, particularly in relevant coursework.
• Exceptional writing, verbal communication, and organizational skills.
• A genuine interest in personal injury law.
• A high degree of integrity.
• A desire to live and work in Central New York.

Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough legal research (Westlaw).
• Assisting with litigation tasks and managing diverse caseloads.
• Drafting legal documents with exceptional attention to detail.
• Communicating with clients with the empathy and professionalism they deserve.
