Requirements

  • 2+ years of personal injury case management or legal assistant experience
  • Strong working knowledge of medical records, insurance claims, and lien handling
  • Experience preparing demand packages
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organization and time management, with the ability to juggle a high-volume caseload
  • Comfortable with case management software and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Client-first mindset with a commitment to excellence

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish fluency is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and related negligence claims
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive, compassionate updates throughout their case
  • Monitor client medical treatment and follow up with providers to keep treatment on track
  • Request, track, and organize medical records and bills
  • Open and manage claims with insurance carriers, including property damage and PIP/MedPay
  • Prepare demand packages for attorney review
  • Identify and track liens, and coordinate with accounting through the settlement process
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date case notes and deadlines in our case management system
  • Work closely with attorneys to ensure efficient case progression and an exceptional client experience
