About The Position

Affinity Consulting Group is partnering with the Law Office of Yohannes K. Sium, PLLC, to find an experienced Personal Injury Attorney. This growing Seattle plaintiff firm focuses on building genuine relationships to provide exceptional legal representation. The role offers an opportunity for an attorney to gain more ownership, influence, and meaningful client relationships while helping to shape the future of the firm's litigation practice. This is not a large firm or a solo practice; it's a collaborative environment where individual contributions directly impact clients and the firm's growth. The firm primarily serves immigrants, professional drivers, and small business owners, emphasizing trust, clear communication, and guiding clients through complex legal systems.

Requirements

  • J.D. and active Washington license (or ability to waive in).
  • Personal injury litigation experience preferred (but strong insurance defense litigators with deposition experience are also encouraged to apply).
  • Experience negotiating with insurance companies.
  • Experience taking depositions.
  • Arbitration experience strongly preferred.
  • Civil litigation experience, including motion practice.
  • Willing to work in person in downtown Seattle.

Responsibilities

  • Handle personal injury matters from litigation through resolution.
  • Negotiate directly with insurance companies.
  • Draft, file, and argue motions in Superior and Federal Court.
  • Conduct and defend depositions.
  • Handle arbitrations.
  • Guide clients through every stage of the litigation process.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve processes and client service.
  • Utilize technology, including Clio and AI tools, to improve efficiency.
