About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers, CNAs, and home health aides to provide personalized, non-medical care to seniors and individuals who need assistance maintaining their independence at home. Our caregivers play an important role in helping clients feel safe, comfortable, supported, and cared for in their own homes. Our service area includes communities throughout the Northwest Suburbs, including Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Rolling Meadows, Elk Grove Village, Des Plaines, Park Ridge, and surrounding areas. Applicants must be comfortable traveling to clients throughout our service area based on client needs and availability.

Requirements

• Previous caregiving experience preferred
• 1+ year of experience in home care, private duty, CNA, HHA, or a related setting is a plus
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license
• Current auto insurance
• A dependable, compassionate, and patient approach to caregiving

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Providing companionship and engaging in meaningful daily activities
• Preparing meals and performing basic household tasks
• Following individualized care plans and client routines
• Providing safe, respectful, and dependable in-home support
• Documenting care provided and communicating important changes to the office
