About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care is looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers, CNAs, and home health aides to provide personalized, non-medical care to seniors and individuals who need assistance maintaining their independence at home. Our caregivers play an important role in helping clients feel safe, comfortable, supported, and cared for in their own homes. Our service area includes communities throughout the Northwest Suburbs, including Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Rolling Meadows, Elk Grove Village, Des Plaines, Park Ridge, and surrounding areas. The location listed on this posting represents one of the areas we serve and is not necessarily our office location or the only area where you may be scheduled. Applicants must be comfortable traveling to clients throughout our service area based on client needs and availability.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license
• Current auto insurance
• A dependable, compassionate, and patient approach to caregiving

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving experience preferred; 1+ year of experience in home care, private duty, CNA, HHA, or a related setting is a plus
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide companionship and meaningful daily activities
• Assist with meal preparation and basic household tasks
• Follow individualized care plans and client routines
• Provide safe, respectful, and dependable in-home support
• Document care and communicate important changes to the office
