About The Position

The Sales Producer is an insurance sales position within The Windward Agency, a wholly owned subsidiary of Florida Peninsula. The agent is expected to market and sell personal and commercial insurance policies by generating leads, following up on referrals, and expanding existing relationships by cross selling to current customers. Requirements

FL 220, License
Personal & Commercial Lines Experience
High school diploma, or equivalent
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills required
Self-motivated and detail oriented
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook
2 years’ insurance sales experience
Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Handle personal lines accounts like auto, home, and renters’ insurance
Respond to leads from various sources, including referrals, internet requests, and phone calls
Understand needs, provide quotes, and follow up to bind coverage and close sales
Provide insurance advice and explanations as needed to customers to ensure understanding
Find new sales leads through networking, referrals, and cold calls
Handle commercial lines accounts like general liability, property, and workers' compensation
Prepare proposals, quotes and complete policy applications
Ensure policies are aligned with customer needs
