About The Position
We're a growing independent insurance agency in Myrtle Beach looking for an Insurance Agent to join our team. This is a producer role — you'll build your own book of business with real support and mentorship behind you. We're not looking for a long insurance resume. We're looking for someone coachable, competitive, and hungry, who wants to grow into a high-earning career. If you're licensed — or already working toward it — we'll invest in you. Open to candidates willing to relocate to the Myrtle Beach area.
Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty license, or currently in process of obtaining one
- Out-of-state P&C licenses can be transferred to South Carolina
- Coachable — open to feedback, training, and mentorship
- Self-motivated and comfortable in a goal- and commission-driven environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Able to work full-time, in-office, in Myrtle Beach (relocation candidates welcome)
- Ability to pass a background check and fingerprinting (required by South Carolina to sell insurance)
Nice To Haves
- Prior insurance experience is a plus, not a requirement
Responsibilities
- Prospect and write new personal and commercial lines business
- Build relationships with lenders, real estate agents, and referral partners
- Assess client needs and recommend appropriate coverage
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and policy applications
- Partner with carriers and underwriters to secure competitive terms
- Maintain accurate records in the agency management system
