About The Position
Homewatch Caregivers® is a non-medical, in-home care agency. We provide unique care to adults of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities in the comfort and safety of their preferred residence. We are currently seeking a compassionate, patient, and energetic individual to provide support to one of our intellectually disabled clients. This client is a female and is located in the Bensalem area. The caregiver will assist the client with daily living activities and transportation to and from a day program.
Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must DRIVE and have a current Tuberculosis (PPD) Test (2-Step Skin Injection/Chest X-ray/Quantiferon Blood Work).
Nice To Haves
- Experience with disabilities preferred.
- Patience, as the client can be stubborn at times.
Responsibilities
- Assistance in bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Assistance in getting the client up and ready for her day program.
- Drive the client to her day program in Langhorne.
- Pick up the client from the day program and bring her back home.
- Ensure the client eats and takes a shower once she is home.
