About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring in-home caregivers to support seniors and adults with disabilities through the everyday moments that make the biggest difference - a helping hand getting dressed, a home-cooked meal, someone to talk to. This job means going client to client across the Winchendon area, and it's built for people who show up and follow through. Caregivers can choose their focus between HHA/CNA (hands-on daily living support, personal care, and homemaking), Personal Care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene assistance), or Homemakers (housekeeping, errands, meal prep, and general household help). The company offers training and certification as an HHA at no cost for those new to caregiving.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license and your own vehicle
- Comfort driving 15–20 minutes between client homes
- Willingness to provide personal care
- Solid spoken and written English
- A dependable, respectful attitude and good communication skills
Responsibilities
- Give medication reminders
- Help with showers, walking, and getting around safely
- Support personal care and hygiene needs
- Cook and plan meals alongside clients
- Handle shopping and errands
- Tidy up - laundry, dishes, sweeping, trash
- Be someone clients look forward to seeing
- Stay alert and respond fast if something's wrong
