About The Position

We are searching for dedicated staff to provide high quality care that will greatly improve our clients' quality of life. This role involves working with clients to establish a secure, positive environment that nurtures their needs, self-expression, and goals. The Personal Care Worker will oversee residents and take care of their needs, including personal care and light housekeeping.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Pass a background check.
• Have proof of insurance and reliable transportation.
• Must have a valid US driver's license.
• Must be dependable, caring, and a team player.

Nice To Haves

• Experience is preferred but will train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Establish a secure, positive environment that nurtures residents' needs, self-expression, and goals.
• Oversee residents and take care of their needs.
• Assist with or perform personal care including hair care, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, etc.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including food preparation and cooking.
• Transport client to activities and medical appointments.
• Work well with a variety of individuals, learning habitats and behaviors.
• Treat people with respect.
