The Team Lead interprets and communicates policies, monitors staff practices, and participates in admission decisions and in-person admissions. Key responsibilities include managing visits with nurse assessments, recertifications, authorizations, billing, payroll, and Medicaid eligibility verification. The position also involves participating in weekly management meetings, scheduling and preparing monthly employee staff meetings for continuing education and team building, evaluating work performance, and ensuring quality care and client satisfaction. The Team Lead oversees schedules, communicates changes, and participates in recruitment, hiring, and termination processes, including new hire orientation. They also perform in-service education, promote teamwork, and may provide direct aide care as needed, treating all clients with dignity and respect. The role requires taking on aide responsibilities during staffing shortages and maintaining a professional appearance.
