Personal Care Caregiver
About The Position
Want a caregiving job where you can make a difference every day? Senior Helpers of Silver Spring is looking for compassionate caregivers who are ready to help seniors stay independent, safe, and comfortable at home. As a Caregiver, no two days are the same. You might help someone get ready for the day, prepare a favorite meal, provide mobility support, head to an appointment, or lend a hand around the house. And sometimes, the most meaningful part is simply sharing a great conversation, a few laughs, or some encouragement. We’ll make sure you’re ready to succeed. You’ll receive hands-on orientation and skills training, ongoing support from our local team, and specialized training for caring for clients living with dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and other age-related conditions.
Requirements
- Compassionate, dependable caregiver committed to making a difference through exceptional, client-centered care
- Caring, patient, and positive attitude
- Professionalism, reliability, and ability to work independently
- Recent TB test
- Certified CPR and first aid
- Able to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
