About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in Auburn Hills, MI. Requirements
- Previous experience in personal care or a related field is a plus but not necessary.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and transferring clients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, empathetic, and patient demeanor.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Must pass background checks.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with mobility and transferring clients safely.
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns promptly.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Follow care plans and document services provided accurately.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
