About The Position

Beloit Health System has Immediate Opportunities for Personal Care Attendants/Certified Nursing Assistants to join NorthPointe Terrace. Personal Care Attendants/Certified Nursing Assistants will assist residents who are functionally, physically, and or socially impaired and need assistance with supportive, nursing, and personal care. The PCA/CNA is responsible to assist tenants with those activities of daily living that they are unable to perform without help, fostering at all times residents' independence and freedom of choice. Assures the provision of high-quality services needed and/or desired by tenants and their families. Attains and/or maintains ongoing compliance with appropriate local, state, federal, regulatory, and/or accrediting body standards. Maintains high level of involvement/participation in all tenant activities. Provides Activity Coordinator and Director with ongoing feedback/suggestions regarding the activity program. Assists residents to self-administer medications under supervision of Registered Nurse and after completion of approved medication course. Provides assistance with activities of daily living for tenants. Provides assistance with instrumental activities of daily living. Conducts room checks and tenant rounds/checks and monitors for environmental and safety hazards. Records incidents, errors, and accidents. Reports such occurrences to Director within 1 hour. Escorts tenants to dining room, sets up and cleans tables, serves meals, eat meals with tenants during mealtimes.

Requirements

  • Completion of accredited CNA program
  • Must have Current IL CNA certification
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • CPR Certification within 3 months
  • Must complete the required medication training course
  • Maintains appropriate levels of confidentiality at all times.
  • Works collaboratively with peers and all team members.
  • Follows up promptly and thoroughly with appropriate staff, tenants, or other individuals regarding reported complaints, problems, and concerns.
