About The Position

This role offers an opportunity to gain resident care experience while working toward CNA certification within four months of hire. With day, evening, and overnight shifts open, you can explore which schedule works best for your life. We’ll discuss available hours, weekend rotations, and holiday expectations so you can consider both your career goals and commitments outside work. As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you will work under licensed nurse supervision. Duties will include: Help residents with daily routines, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating. Assist with movement, repositioning, and transfers using proper techniques and approved equipment. Promptly answer call lights and respond to residents’ requests with patience and care. Observe residents, report changes or concerns to nursing staff, and complete measurements as trained and directed. Record the care you provide and help keep residents’ surroundings clean, comfortable, and safe.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain CNA certification within four months of hire
  • Current CPR/BLS certification, or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Ability to perform required resident care, transfers, and repositioning using established safety practices
  • Patient, dependable, and ready to learn.
  • Provide thoughtful care that protects each resident’s dignity, privacy, and choices, helping them feel comfortable and supported throughout their day.
  • Value teamwork—welcoming new coworkers, sharing what you know, offering help, and communicating respectfully, especially during busy shifts.
  • Open to feedback and help create an environment where everyone feels comfortable asking questions.
