About The Position

Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community is currently seeking compassionate, self-motivated individuals to join our Personal Care and Memory Support Teams as Personal Care Attendants (PCA). This role involves making a difference in the lives of seniors by assisting them with daily living tasks and responding to their needs. The community emphasizes a mission of providing for the spiritual, physical, emotional, and social needs of residents through high-quality facilities and services, in a manner faithful to the Bible and honoring Jesus Christ. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (copy required)
• Previous experience in a caregiving role
• Must be willing to obtain Medical Technician Certification (upon completion of first 90 days).
• Project a friendly demeanor
• Show a desire to help others
• Accuracy, dependability, initiative and the desire to be a part of a team

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living tasks (bathing and grooming).
• Responds appropriately to resident needs.
• Promptly answers call bells.
• Completes accurate and timely records.
• Follows instructions and reports to med nurse, Unit Manager, and Administrator.
