About The Position

CNS Cares is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) for private duty home healthcare. As a direct care professional, you will have the opportunity to provide compassionate care and build close relationships with clients, including Armed Services Veterans and former energy workers, enabling them to remain independent and live in their own homes. We offer a supportive team environment where care is put first. This role involves one-on-one patient care in the privacy of the patient's home.

Requirements

2 years of in-home health care experience
Every other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
Willingness to travel up to 60 miles
Willingness to work in multiple homes (if applicable)
Valid Driver's License
High School graduate or equivalent
CPR/First Aide Certification
Criminal background check
Drug Screening
Driving Record check
OIG Exclusion List check
Sex Offender Registry check

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to clients in their homes.
Build close relationships with clients.
Promote personal safety and a safe environment for clients.
Maintain compliance with agency policy, procedures, and job requirements.
Read, analyze, and interpret general business practices, policies and procedures, professional journals, technical guidelines, and governmental regulations.
Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Provide guidance and direction accurately and clearly to Company staff and employees.
Identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities.
Analyze data from different sources to draw conclusions.
Utilize effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions.
Take action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences.
