About The Position

Beloit Health System has immediate per diem opportunities for Personal Care Attendants/Certified Nursing Assistants at Riverside Terrace. The role assists residents who are functionally, physically, or socially impaired and need supportive, nursing, or personal care. Attendants help tenants with activities of daily living they cannot perform without assistance while fostering their independence and freedom of choice. The positions have varied shifts and schedules, with hours per week varying. Benefits status is not eligible.

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin CNA certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• CPR certification within three months.
• Completion of the required medication training course.
• Maintain appropriate confidentiality.
• Work collaboratively with peers and all team members.
• Follow up promptly and thoroughly with appropriate staff, tenants, or other individuals regarding reported complaints, problems, and concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality services needed or desired by tenants and their families.
• Maintain compliance with applicable local, state, and federal requirements and regulatory or accrediting standards.
• Participate in tenant activities and provide ongoing feedback and suggestions about the activity program to the Activity Coordinator and Director.
• Assist residents with self-administering medications under Registered Nurse supervision after completing the approved medication course.
• Assist tenants with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living.
• Conduct room checks and tenant rounds, and monitor for environmental and safety hazards.
• Record incidents, errors, and accidents and report them to the Director within one hour.
• Escort tenants to the dining room, set up and clean tables, serve meals, and eat meals with tenants during mealtimes.
