About The Position

Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring in-home caregivers to support elderly and disabled individuals in their homes. Employees may work as companions or personal care providers. No prior experience is necessary; training is available upon hire for candidates with the right mindset and compassion. Schedules are flexible and self-determined based on client availability. The role includes assisting clients with personal care, household tasks, meals, errands, and companionship. Caregivers are expected to report unusual incidents and respond responsibly to emergencies.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal hygiene and getting dressed.
Assist clients with eating.
Provide medication reminders.
Perform light housekeeping and general cleaning, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning rooms, halls, and bathrooms, and emptying and replacing trash containers.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in clients’ homes.
Shop for groceries and household supplies and assist with shopping errands.
Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the client.
Provide pleasant and supportive companionship.
Report unusual incidents.
Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
