About The Position
The Personal Care Assistant supports seniors and individuals with specialized needs, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life. The role includes short, flexible shifts of 2–4 hours and is part-time.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or in senior care.
- Familiarity with medication administration and EMR documentation.
- Ability to safely operate mobility aids, such as Hoyer lifts.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- First Aid / CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Provide support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Prepare nutritious meals and perform light housekeeping.
- Drive clients to medical appointments, errands, and other activities as needed.
