About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide support and assistance to our clients in Saline, MI. This role involves helping individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and improve their quality of life.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in personal care or caregiving is an asset, but NOT required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help clients with mobility and transferring
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and errands as needed
- Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition to the healthcare team
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate records of services provided
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for the client
