Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
About The Position
The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) provides support to individuals who need assistance with daily activities and personal care. Responsibilities may include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, walking, and other everyday tasks. PCAs may also help maintain a safe and clean environment, provide companionship, and communicate with family members or supervisors about the individual’s needs. The position requires patience, responsibility, good communication, and a commitment to treating clients with dignity and respect. This position is located in Staten Island, New York.
Requirements
- No previous work experience is required.
- Must have a strong work ethic, be reliable and responsible, have good communication skills, and be willing to learn.
- Must have a genuine interest in desire to provide quality care to clients.
- Must provide a state-issued ID, Social Security Card, proof of address, and two references.
- Must attend all training dates; attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
