About The Position

Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring Personal Care Assistants and Companions to support elderly and disabled individuals in their own homes in Danvers, Peabody, Middleton, Salem, and other areas. No prior experience is necessary; training is available for candidates with the right mindset and compassion. Candidates can choose flexible, self-determined schedules based on client availability.

The role includes helping clients with personal care and daily activities, household cleaning, shopping, meal preparation, and companionship. Employees are expected to report unusual incidents and respond promptly and responsibly to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene and getting dressed.
• Perform general cleaning and light housekeeping duties.
• Assist clients with eating.
• Help with shopping errands and shop for groceries and household supplies.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in clients’ homes.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop.
• Clean rooms, halls, and bathrooms.
• Empty and replace trash containers.
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the client.
• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship.
• Report unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
