About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring an experienced On-Call Caregiver to support seniors and disabled adults in their homes. HHA or CNA credentials are preferred, though strong experience with elderly clients will also be considered. The role involves flexible on-call shifts, with full-time hours available, and includes a flat-rate stipend for being on standby as well as hourly pay for hours worked. Caregivers agree to specific on-call days and hours, return calls within 15 minutes, be able to leave for a shift within 30 minutes, and accept all assignments during their on-call period. The work takes place in private homes and, at times, assisted living and hospice settings.
Requirements
- Prior senior care experience.
- Be respectful, compassionate, and dependable.
- Have strong communication, time-management, and ethical conduct.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Agree to specific on-call days and hours.

Responsibilities
- Be available outside regular business hours to cover last-minute call-outs and urgent client needs.
- Assist clients with personal care, mobility, meals, errands, and light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship and respond appropriately in emergencies.
- Accept all assignments during agreed on-call periods.
- Return calls within 15 minutes and be able to leave for a shift within 30 minutes.
- Maintain reliable transportation.
- Complete required documentation on time.
