About The Position

Maria Joseph Manor at Maria Joseph Continuing Care Community, known as The Home with a Heart, is seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to join their team. PCAs are essential in supporting residents' daily lives by providing hands-on care, comfort, and companionship in a respectful and nurturing environment. No certification is required as comprehensive training is provided on-site. Openings are available for part-time, per diem, PRN, and every-other-weekend positions with flexible eight-hour shifts, including day and night options. PCAs assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and meal assistance, ensuring residents feel safe, respected, and valued. The role involves building meaningful relationships with residents and families while maintaining dignity, comfort, and quality of life, emphasizing compassionate companionship and attentiveness alongside physical care. The community's mission and values center on respect, compassion, love, and hospitality, aiming to create a warm, faith-centered environment where residents feel at home. Caregivers are expected to embody these values through genuine presence, empathy, and service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate reliability, compassion, and a sincere passion for helping seniors.
  • No certification required; training is provided.
