About The Position

CNS Cares is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide direct care to clients in their homes. As a PCA, you will have the opportunity to build close relationships with patients, offering them compassionate care and supporting their independence. CNS Cares specializes in providing home health care to Armed Services Veterans and former energy workers, enabling them to remain independent and live in their own homes. This role involves one-on-one patient care in the privacy of the patient's home.

Requirements

2 years of in-home health care experience
Must have every other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
Must be willing to travel up to 60 miles
Must be willing to work in multiple homes (if applicable)
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid Driver's License
High School graduate or equivalent.
CPR/First Aide Certification
Pass Criminal background check
Pass Drug Screening
Pass Driving Record check
Pass OIG Exclusion List check
Pass Sex Offender Registry check

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to clients in their homes.
Build close relationships with patients.
Support patient independence and comfort.
Provide one-on-one patient care.
Promote personal safety and a safe environment for clients.
Maintain compliance with agency policy, procedures, and job requirements.
Read, analyze, and interpret general business practices, policies and procedures, professional journals, technical guidelines, and governmental regulations.
Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Provide guidance and direction accurately and clearly to Company staff and employees.
Identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities.
Analyze data from different sources to draw conclusions.
Utilize effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions.
Take action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences.
