About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services of Leominster, MA is now hiring in-home Caregivers. This job consists heavily of traveling from home to home to serve our senior clients that are in need of help. This job is for Caregivers that are willing to be responsible and reliable from day one. Caregiving is a significant responsibility that becomes more challenging as people age. Their needs tend to grow over time, making the caregiving process even more demanding.
Requirements
- Must have valid Driver's license.
- Have Own Vehicle
- Willing to travel 15 to 20 minutes
- Ability to write, read, and speak English fluently.
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Light Housekeeping/Laundry
- Assist client with ambulation and mobility around the house
- Help with basic cleaning around the home
- Assist client with personal care and hygiene and showers
- Plan and prepare meals
- Assist with shopping errands
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Be a pleasant and supportive companion
- Report any unusual incidents
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencies
