About The Position

Requirements

• Move (sit, stand, bend, and lift) intermittently throughout the workday.
• Lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Read and write in English.
• Pass a background check and drug test.
• If not certified, complete the state test.

Nice To Haves

• STNA certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide for residents’ personal care needs with an emphasis on quality, compassion, and timeliness.
• Support residents’ medical needs through quality nursing care and report concerns to the charge nurse.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant physical environment.
• Ensure residents’ nutritional needs are met in accordance with established care plans and report to the appropriate director.
• Ensure residents’ medication needs are met.
• Perform other related activities as assigned or requested.
• Assist with the evacuation of residents.
