Requirements

Previous experience as a PCA, HHA, CNA, or in a similar caregiving role preferred
Genuine compassion, patience, and a client-centered approach to care
Ability to assist with physical tasks including lifting and transferring clients
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
Must pass a background check and meet state caregiver requirements in California

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors
Accompany clients to appointments and assist with errands and transportation
Follow individualized care plans to ensure consistent, high-quality care
