About The Position
The Landings of Canton Hills is seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in Canton, GA, to provide essential support to individuals in their daily living activities, promoting independence and enhancing quality of life.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in personal care or related field is a plus.
- Compassionate and patient with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to and from job location in Canton, GA.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with mobility and transferring clients safely.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients’ condition or needs to supervisors.
- Follow care plans and adhere to all safety and confidentiality guidelines.
