About The Position
Join Senior Helpers of Milford as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) and make a difference in the lives of seniors by helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. This role offers a more relaxed environment compared to facility work and focuses on providing one-on-one care. We are hiring PCAs in various Massachusetts communities including Bellingham, Blackstone, Franklin, Foxboro, South Grafton, Hopedale, Medfield, Mansfield, Mendon, Medway, Milford, Millis, North Attleboro, Sharon, Stoughton, Upton, Walpole, Webster, and Wrentham.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation.
- Compassionate attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to pass a CORI background check.
- Dependable, caring, and passionate about helping others.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience.
- PCA, HHA, or CNA experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate one-on-one care to seniors in their homes.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Help with meal preparation and provide medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and engage in light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide transportation and mobility assistance as needed.
- Monitor clients' well-being and communicate any changes to the office.
- Follow each client's personalized care plan.
