About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Westland, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients, helping them with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and maintain their independence.
Requirements
- Previous experience in personal care or home health care is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work compassionately with clients.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation may be required.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with mobility and transferring clients safely.
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Follow care plans and report any changes in client condition to supervisors.
- Maintain client confidentiality and follow company policies and procedures.
