About The Position
Lutheran Life Villages is seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents in their South Anthony Blvd Independent Living community. This role focuses on providing daily wellness, companionship, and comfort to residents, helping them maintain their independence through friendly visits, light housekeeping, and assistance with daily living activities. The PCA will make meaningful connections within a faith-based community setting.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- A caring, compassionate, and reliable individual who enjoys helping others
- Experienced (or eager to learn!) in supporting older adults
- A true team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide wellness visits and personalized support to residents.
- Spend one-on-one fellowship time, offering companionship and conversation.
- Help keep residents’ apartments neat and welcoming with light housekeeping.
- Assist with standby showers and other daily living activities.
