About The Position

UniversaCare is hiring a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide care to clients in their own homes in Fairfield County. This is a field position where you will travel to clients' homes. Hiring, onboarding, and support are handled by the UniversaCare of Southern Connecticut office. The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and following care plans.

Requirements

• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role

Nice To Haves

• Caregiving experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Help clients at home with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
• Prepare meals and do light housekeeping and laundry
• Run errands and go with clients to appointments
• Follow each client’s care plan and report changes to the office
