About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Sarasota is seeking compassionate personal care assistants to provide individualized support to seniors in their homes. The role involves helping clients with daily living and household tasks, offering companionship, and following individualized care plans. Caregivers are expected to treat clients with dignity, patience, and respect and communicate professionally with families and office staff. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available depending on client needs and caregiver availability.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Clean driving record.
• Access to a smartphone and email.

Nice To Haves

• Professional caregiving experience is preferred.
• Experienced caregivers with or without CNA/HHA certification are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Offer companionship to clients.
• Prepare meals.
• Provide transportation and help with shopping, errands, and prescription pickup.
• Assist clients with telehealth visits.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Follow individualized care plans.
• Communicate professionally with families and office staff.
