Personal Care Assistant (PCA) | CNA | Caregiver
About The Position
We're seeking a compassionate, dependable Personal Care Assistant (PCA), CNA, Caregiver, Home Health Aide, DSP, or Personal Care Attendant to provide one-on-one care for an older woman who lives independently in her fully accessible home. This isn't a nursing home or assisted living facility. You'll care for one individual, build a genuine relationship, and help her maintain the independence, dignity, and quality of life she values. Whether you're an experienced caregiver looking for additional hours or someone with a natural heart for helping others, we'd love to meet you.
Requirements
- Kind, patient, dependable, and trustworthy
- Comfortable working independently in a private home
- At least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
- Able to assist with transfers and mobility
- Able to pass a background check
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a PCA, CNA, DSP, Home Health Aide, Caregiver, or similar role is preferred, but not required
- We're happy to train someone with the right attitude and genuine compassion
Responsibilities
- Assist with dressing, bathing, grooming, and personal care
- Help with transfers and mobility
- Prepare simple meals and assist with light housekeeping
- Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Assist with medication reminders and daily routines
- Occasionally provide transportation to appointments or activities
- Communicate observations with the family and care team
