About The Position

A&C Private Home Care is hiring compassionate, reliable caregivers to provide personalized, one-on-one care to clients across Georgia. The role supports immobile, recovering, or frail clients with daily activities, companionship, household tasks, mobility, and outings. Caregivers help maintain clients’ dignity, comfort, and safety, and report changes in their physical, mental, or emotional condition to relevant parties. Prior home-care experience is preferred but not required; training and support are provided. The position pays $15–$17 per hour and offers flexible scheduling.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
CPR certification, or willingness to obtain certification before starting.
An up-to-date TB test, or willingness to obtain one before beginning work.
Flexible schedule availability.
Ability to manage and organize clients’ routines effectively.
Ability to assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and errands.
Compassionate, dependable, and punctual.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Prior experience in home care.

Responsibilities

Provide support, company, and comfort to immobile, recovering, or frail clients.
Report changes in clients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions to relevant parties.
Assist with personal hygiene, including bathroom visits, bathing, dressing, and brushing teeth.
Engage clients in suitable activities, such as playing games, taking walks, or having conversations.
Perform basic housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
Assist clients with household finances, bills, and payments, and run errands.
Accompany clients on outings and arrange transportation to medical appointments.
Provide mobility support, including assistance with walking aids and wheelchairs.
Maintain a hygienic, tidy, and safe environment.
Perform transfers safely and use proper technique to help prevent injury.
