About The Position

Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring Personal Care Assistants/Companions in Rockport, Essex, Ipswich, Gloucester, and surrounding areas. This role involves caring for elderly and disabled individuals in their homes, offering opportunities to work as a Companion or Personal Care Provider. No prior experience is necessary, as training will be provided to candidates with the right mindset and compassion. The position offers flexible, self-determined scheduling based on client availability.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal hygiene and getting dressed
• Performing general cleaning duties
• Assisting with eating
• Assist with shopping errands
• Medication Reminders
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the home
• Shopping for groceries and household supplies
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping
• Cleaning rooms, halls, and bathrooms
• Emptying and replacing trash containers
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the client
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencies
