About The Position

Always Best Care of Rock Hill is currently looking for candidates that are truly passionate about providing the best care for our client base and their families in York, Chester, and Lancaster County. We have morning, afternoon, evening, night, and weekend shifts available to allow you to have a flexible schedule but maintain consistent hours. Our Caregivers are an active participant in the client’s care plan because you are the one who is the home helping our clients live their best life ever. This is not just a job, but oftentimes an extension of the families whose homes we visit on a regular basis. When you are part of our family and team you are offered training in areas such as Alzheimer/Dementia, Cancer programs, Fall Risk, and Wellness that will enhance your skills. Requirements

Experience with caring for Elderly and disabled people.
Reliable transportation.
Valid driver license.
Auto insurance.
Clean background record.
Ability to pass a drug screen.
Dependability.
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Working with our clients helping them with day-to-day activities so that they can age in place.
Assisting clients with bathing and dressing.
Preparing nutritious meals for clients.
Ensuring clients take their medications.
Running errands for clients (e.g., groceries, medications).
Helping with light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Assisting clients with mental and physical exercises to improve health and reduce fall risk.
