Requirements

Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within service area.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and follow all infection-control and safety protocols.
Friendly, clear communicator who respects client dignity and confidentiality.
Dependable and detail-oriented—you notice small changes that make a big difference.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a caregiver, HHA, or in a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide respectful assistance with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and safe transfers.
Guide ambulation, walker/wheelchair use, and therapist-directed range-of-motion routines.
Plan and cook simple, balanced meals; monitor hydration.
Handle light housekeeping, laundry, and fall-prevention checks.
Give timely medication reminders and note any changes in condition for the supervising nurse.
Offer conversation, games, and escorted outings to keep minds sharp and spirits high.
Drive or accompany clients to appointments, groceries, and community activities.
