About The Position

Interim HealthCare is hiring compassionate, dependable Personal Care Aides to provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes, helping them maintain comfort, dignity, and independence. This overnight role includes personal care, companionship, emotional support, respite for primary caregivers, and assistance with mobility or positioning throughout the night. Aides may not sleep while on shift. The position offers flexible scheduling and PRN and part-time opportunities, with the potential to pick up additional hours. Availability to work every other weekend and every other holiday is required.

Requirements

At least six months of experience in a comparable care aide job, a current CNA license, or completion of the first semester of nursing school.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable personal transportation.
Two professional references.
Successful completion of a background check.
Availability to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
Must remain awake while on shift.

Nice To Haves

Current CPR certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Provide respite for the client's primary caregiver so they can get a restful night's sleep.
Assist clients with mobility and positioning as needed throughout the night.
Support clients' comfort, dignity, and independence.
