About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to join our team in Wayne, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients, helping them with daily living activities to improve their quality of life and promote independence in a safe and comfortable environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in personal care or home health aide role is a plus
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to pass background checks
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Help clients with mobility and transferring as needed
- Provide companionship and support to enhance clients’ emotional and social well-being
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding if required
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
