Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in personal care or a home health aide role is an advantage.
• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy and patience.
• Reliable transportation to and from client locations.
• Ability to pass background checks and any required certifications.
• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help clients with mobility, including transferring and walking.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Help with light housekeeping and maintaining a safe environment.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition or needs to supervisory staff.
• Follow care plans and maintain client confidentiality.
