About The Position
Health Services of Northern New York is seeking a Personal Care Aide to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to make genuine connections while helping others in the community, with the added benefit of a flexible schedule that allows for personal time. The position involves tasks related to maintaining the client's home, including cleanliness and housekeeping duties, as well as providing direct personal care assistance to clients.
Requirements
- Worked as a DSP, CNA or have done any personal care work for at least 3 months within the past 3 years
Responsibilities
- Completing tasks related to maintaining the client's home
- Dusting
- Vacuuming
- Washing dishes
- Laundry
- Cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
- Running errands
- Grocery shopping
- Providing assistance with personal care for the client, including bathing, shampooing, oral care, and general grooming and personal hygiene
- Helping with turning and positioning the client
- Assisting with mobility and ambulating
