The Personal Care Aide (PCA) - SL County is responsible for delivering compassionate health care services to residents. The role involves providing companion care and assisting with personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and meal preparation. Additionally, the PCA will perform household tasks like vacuuming, dusting, changing linens, folding/hanging clothes, and shopping. A key responsibility is to notify the authorized designee of any changes in the client's condition or care plan and to document services performed. The position requires adherence to COVID-19 precautions, including the use of personal protective equipment, temperature screenings, and social distancing. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) responsibilities include providing kind and compassionate care, turning and repositioning residents, assisting with daily living activities, reviewing dietary restrictions, recording intake and output, and reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
