About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to provide high-quality assistance to our clients in Farmington Hills, MI. In this role, you will support individuals with daily living activities, promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful of client confidentiality.
- Must be able to pass background checks.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Aide or in a related caregiving role is a plus but not needed.
- Valid driver’s license/Id card and reliable transportationas in own car preferred but not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Help with mobility, including transferring and walking.
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Follow care plans and document services provided accurately and timely.
