About The Position
The PCA II supports patients with personal care and home management. Services may include oversight and supervision, as well as assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and independent activities of daily living (IADLs), such as bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, meal planning, and meal preparation. The PCA II follows the established scope of practice defined by New York State regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient support with personal care and home management.
- Provide oversight and supervision as needed.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing.
- Assist with independent activities of daily living, including meal planning and preparation.
- Follow the scope of practice defined by New York State regulations.
