About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to join our team in Ann Arbor, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Aide or in a similar role is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and transferring clients.
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with light housekeeping chores and laundry.
- Monitor client condition and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Follow established care plans and maintain accurate records of services provided.
- Ensure client safety at all times.
